LA Wallet's VerifyYou Remote will allow an organization to remotely verify identity details and COVID-19 vaccination and test result status either interactively or in a batch mode. Use cases for this include registered events where the roster of attendees is known, an employee roster, a team roster, or any known group of individuals.


VerifyYou™ Pro Verification Services

 

LA Wallet's Verification Service, VerifyYou™ Pro allows businesses to verify someone's identity or Covid-19 vaccination status by scanning a license barcode or a Covid-19 SMART™ Health Card. This feature allows a "Verifier" to validate a person's license validity, age, name, and Covid-19 vaccination status. Meanwhile, the "Presenter" maintains full possession of his or her phone or identification card. 

 

What This Means For Businesses

  • You can validate a user's license or Covid-19 vaccination status without touching another person's phone or identification card. 
  • No special hardware is needed. An existing phone or tablet gets the job done. Optional scanning using handheld scanners is also available. 
  • VerifyYou™ does a real-time validation against live records at the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles for identity validation. 
  • The internationally accepted SMART™ Health Card can be generated by participating healthcare organizations, states, and completely free for Louisiana citizens in the LA Wallet app. 
  • Digital verification lowers the risks of accepting fraudulent licenses or vaccination cards.

FAQs


Businesses who wish to require Covid-19 vaccinations have the ability to scan vaccination records in the form of SMART™ Health Cards, which is an internationally accepted standard for sharing vaccination status. Louisiana citizens can obtain a SMART™ Health Card with two clicks within their LA Wallet account. Other states and healthcare organizations also have the ability to generate a SMART™ Health Card that can be scanned for vaccine verification.

VerifyYou™ Pro is a monthly subscription service that provides Louisiana businesses with a manager portal for adding Verifiers to their system. Verifiers are persons who will be responsible for verifying the customer's identity, age, or Covid-19 vaccination status. Verifiers are required to create an LA Wallet account in order to user VerifyYou™ Pro.

The great thing about VerifyYou™ Pro is that anyone with a smartphone can become a Verifier. Of course, business owners will need to monitor the VerifyYou™ Pro manager portal from a web interface. Optional scanning using handheld scanners is available. 

VerifyYou™ Pro asks the Verifiers permission to track his or her location while engaged in VerifyYou™ Pro activities. Once the user switches his or her LA Wallet account to personal mode, the location services are disabled until the user switches back to using VerifyYou™ Pro. Disabling location services will prevent you from using VerifyYou™ Pro.
